The first issue of The Ridgeback Register was first published in August 1995, with a two-color cover and 19 pages of black-and-white advertisements. The first cover featured the National Specialty winner Chip, MBIS MBISS Ch. Kimani's Blue Chip Image, JC, ROM.
Funny how two decades can go by in an eye blink; but I know where the time went ... marriage, three beautiful children, many co-owned and champion Ridgebacks, my own business specializing in design and photography, and now ... a twenty-year celebration of passion for a breed that has touched my life in so many ways.
The Register's hallmark is professionally written, award-winning articles on all aspects of the breed, from history and health to breeding and conformation. You won't find a better, more intelligent Ridgeback publication anywhere. We're as smart as we are beautiful, and nobody comes close to the quality journalism and engaging design that were produced.

GCHS CJS Ranch Sundance Kid HPK-Tropaco
"Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is a 1969 American Western which tells the story of Wild West train robbing outlaws Butch Cassidy (Paul Newman), and his partner, the "Sundance Kid" (Robert Redford).
This box office smash set the tone for future action comedies and introduced audiences to the iconic pop song, Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head. A catchy tune with metaphoric verses about life’s obstacles and challenges and how there is no time for sulking, you just move on with no worries and let it happen.
For anyone who has met fellow Ridgebackers, Jay and Taryn Ruffin, from Franklin, Tenn., you know they live life in the same manner. Even if you have not met them, all you need do is follow them on facebook to see the pure enjoyment they get out of life."
